Hudson Now a Konami Subsidiary
April 11th, 2005 (7:06pm) - Konami has become the new majority stockholder of Hudson Software as it announced today that the company has purchased an additional 3 million shares in Hudson, rasing Konamis previous owner from 45% to 54%. Hudson is now considered a subsidiary of Konami.
The purchase of the shares in Hudson by Konami is expected to conclude on April 27 2005. The deal is being valued a 1.434 billion yen, which is an approx. 13.3 million USD.
