2K Games Ships "Stronghold 2" to Retailers
April 20th, 2005 (11:57am) - 2K Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, today announced that Stronghold 2 for PC has shipped and is currently available in retail stores across North America. Stronghold 2 will be available in European stores on April 22nd.
Stronghold 2 is the only game of its kind to offer both sim and combat strategy gameplay. Building upon the legacy of its predecessors, Stronghold 2 offers a full story-driven single player campaign, innovative features like the all-new Kingmaker and enhanced multiplayer modes and additional gameplay options for more casual players. "The Stronghold series showcases our love of castles and medieval life," said Simon Bradbury, Director at Firefly Studios, and lead designer on Stronghold 2. "With Stronghold 2, weve added more depth to both the castle life and siege gameplay and produced what we think is the definitive medieval strategy game."
