Delta Force- Black Hawk Down Delayed

April 21st, 2005 (10:06pm) - NovaLogic announced that Delta Force- Black Hawk Down for the Xbox video game console has been delayed and will now release early this summer. Delta Force- Black Hawk Down will be the first Xbox video game to feature 50 player battles via Xbox Live. The game was set to release this May.

The game is based off of the award winning PC franchise and has been redeveloped completely for the Xbox gaming system, mainly to incorporate Xbox Live into the experience.

The Xbox Live features for Delta Force include team support, stats, voice chat, messaging, matchmaking, and more. Aside from the 50 player online gaming experience, there will also be 8 multiplayer game types, a large variety of environments, as well as split screen co-op and Xbox Live communicator headset support.

No new release date has been set, although an announcement should be made soon.
