April 22nd, 2005 (3:01pm) - The latest Media Create software and hardware sales charts from Japan are showing one of the slowest weeks for videogames in 2005 during the week of Apr. 11 - Apr. 17. With only two new game releases, software and hardware sales both saw a drop in sales. However, after being outsold by the Nintendo DS for three consecutive weeks, the PSP slightly outsold the Nintendo DS for the week of Apr. 11 - Apr. 17. The difference in units sales for the PSP and Nintendo DS is just below 900,000 units, with the Nintendo DS in the lead.
