April 27^th, 2005 (12:41am) - Some new Zelda art renders have leaked onto the internet and boy are they something to look at. They are sure to satisfy the craving of the millions of Zelda fans around the world in dire need of getting their hands on each and every piece of new information regarding the GameCube’s upcoming Legend of Zelda.

The first image is an art render (which makes for an ideal wallpaper) that features our hero link with his back against a mysterious cloaked character with the insignia of the "Sheikah" on his back. There is also a image of a wolf atop a mountain on the left side and a possible Hyrule castle on the right with bats flying above it.

The other images are art renders of our hero Link and the new Princess Zelda. Both designs of each character showcase and art direction that is much more realistic than The Wind Waker, and a direction that most Zelda fans are very pleased to see. Take note that Princess Zelda is wielding a sword. Perhaps she will play a more physical role in this new Zelda adventure.

Expect an updated preview of Zelda for the GameCube this week.
