Yamauchi Bows Out
April 28th, 2005 (12:47am) - Hiroshi Yamauchi, Nintendo’s former president, will be stepping down from his position on the Board of Directors of three years this June. He cited his age, and his depleting physical strength as reasons.
Yamauchi-san declined a retirement package estimated to be between ten and fifteen million dollars, saying that he’d rather see the money invested back into the company. Reported by Anthony Swinnich on April 28th, 2005 (12:47am) [From: IGN]
