VU Games Scarface Moved to the Next-Gen
April 30th, 2005 (12:25pm) - Vivendi Universal Games has revealed that theyve decided to move the development of Scarface for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox to next generation game consoles.
The company made the announcement at a presentation in London at which Adam Roberts, VU Games managing director for Northern Europe, said that "Scarface will now be available in the first half of 2006 so we can concentrate on next-gen consoles. This will be our biggest game launch ever so we think its best to wait and make sure we get it right." While an Xbox 360 version is likely, specific next-gen platforms were not mentioned. Also, a PC version is still in development, but will now most likely utilize more advanced graphical effects and feature more details. Quoting one of the films famous quotes, Roberts said "Be cool. If youre important, people will wait." Reported by Elias Dounis on April 30th, 2005 (12:25pm) [From: Computer and Videogames.com]
