Namco and Bandai to Merge
May 2nd, 2005 (2:09am) - Japan’s Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper is reporting that two of Japan’s leading videogame publishers and developers, Namco and Bandai, will announce (later today) that they will be merging their operations as early as Fall. Much like the mergers between Square and Enix, and SEGA and Sammy, this merger of Namco and Bandai is to strengthen the two comapanies’ business operations. We hope to have more on the announcement at a later time.
