May 11^th, 2005 (2:14am) - Ourcolony.net has leaked a new image for Xbox 360 enthusiasts to drool over and this latest image is from the highly anticipated and long awaited sequel to Rare’s Nintendo 64 hit, Perfect Dark. Yes folks, Perfect Dark Zero is in development for the Xbox 360 and is heavily rumored to be one of the platform’s launch titles, if not one of its first games. However, knowing that Rare can never be trusted to deliver a game on time, it’s possible that the game will arrive at some point for the Xbox 360.

Earlier this week, details regarding Perfect Dark Zero were leaked by gamers attending MTV’s Xbox 360 unveiling. The game is currently in a playable alpha form and is said to feature graphics that are similar to those of Halo 2, in terms of realism. The game is said to have a feel that is similar to Valve’s Counter-Strike with some Splinter Cell-like stealth elements tossed into the game as well.

The original game feature some very interesting weapons (Laptop gun anyone?) and Perfect Dark Zero is expected to stay true to its predecessor in this respect by offering 22 different weapons. One of the weapons is said to even turn players invisible. A jet-pack will also be available in the game, so that it allows players to fly around levels.
