May 11^th, 2005 (2:38am) - Midway has revealed that Mortal Kombat, NBA Ballers, and Midway Arcade Treasures will be heading to the PSP.

Mortal Kombat: Deception is expected to make its way to the PSP and be as similar to its home consoles counterparts as much as the PSP’s technical capabilities allow it to be. It will feature wireless online play, and the game’s extensive Konquest and Puzzle Combat modes. The game is scheduled for a Winter 2005 release.

NBA Ballers will also be a port of the home console game. It will ship in early 2006.

Midway Arcade Treasuers for the PSP will take the best games feature in the series so far to create a worthwhile package for PSP owners with that retro taste. In addition to five single-player only games, Midway Arcade Treasures for the PSP will include 16 games playable over the PSP’s wireless connection. The complete roster is as follows: Spy Hunter (single-player), Sinistar (single-player), Defender (single-player), Paperboy (single- player), 720 (single-player), Klax, Joust, Marble Madness, Toobin’, Rampage (3-player), Gauntlet (4-player), Rampart (3-player), Wizard of Wor, Xybots, Championship Sprint, Arch Rivals, Cyberball 2072, Xenophobe (3-player), Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, and Mortal Kombat 3. Midway Arcade Treasures is scheduled for a Winter 2005 release.
