Nintendo E3 Rumors
May 12th, 2005 (2:19am) - Rumors regarding Nintendos E3 presence are running rampant across videogame forums across the web and the latest rumors are saying that Nintendo will not showcase their next-gen Revolution console in playable form, but instead through a video presentation. It is said that Nintendo will focus its E3 efforts on a new version of the current Game Boy Advance Hardware and the unveiling the Nintendo DS online service.
Nintendo representatives have previously stated that the Nintendo Revolution will be key part of the companys presentation at E3, however, since the launch window of the console is still quite far away, the company believes that its best not to reveal everything about the console at E3. Nintendo fears that rival companies may steal their ideas and things of the sort. This new version of the Game Boy Advance is rumored to be an update to the existing GBA SP that could possibly feature wireless networking features and a built in features of Nintendos Play-Yan adapter. The Play-Yan allows both audio and video multimedia features for the Nintendo DS, as well as the ability to play downloadable games. As for the DS online service, Nintendo is expected to make that the center of the companys E3 showing. However, its very likely that fans will most likely show the most interest in Nintendos upcoming Legend of Zelda game for the GameCube. As the tired saying goes... "Wait till E3." Its only a few days away. Reported by Elias Dounis on May 12th, 2005 (2:19am)
