Nintendos Perrin Kaplan Appears on CNBC
May 18th, 2005 (4:34pm) - Nintendos Perrin Kaplan appeared on CNBC today and spoke about Nintendos E3 presence to CNBCs Bill Griffeth.
Kaplan first showed off the Game Boy Micro, Nintendos latest Game Boy Advance hardware revision. She confirmed that the Game Boy Micro would be release sometime during the later summer or early fall. Kaplan also spoke a bit on Nintendos next-gen console, the Revolution. Kaplan compared the console to a Ferrari, saying, that like the Ferrari, the Revolution is powerful and sleek. When asked why Nintendo didnt show more about the Revolutions features and its games at Nintendos pre-E3 press conference, Kaplan responded by saying that Nintendo is "...the last company to truly put games first. Nintendo will still stick to innovation. Thats been our main focus and has rewarded us every time." Unfortunately, no additional information regarding Nintendos next-gen console had been revealed.
