E3: Lack of Metroid Prime 3 Explained
May 19th, 2005 (11:25pm) - According to sources from the inside (i.e. "inside sources"), Nintendo purposely didnt show very much footage of Metroid Prime 3. Nintendos Perrin Kaplan made a statement as to why this route was chosen.
"Several of us felt pretty strongly that we didnt want people to misperceive that Metroid Prime 3 was our big [Revolution] launch title because thats not what it was intended to mean," Kaplan said. "And we really want to feel like we want to make sure we have a compilation with a lot of stuff that were really happy with before we show it. Its like showing one finger of a hand doesnt make sense." Reported by Anthony Swinnich on May 19th, 2005 (11:25pm) [From: IGN]
