E3: Animal Crossing for the Revolution?
May 20th, 2005 (11:15am) - In a not so surprising move, Nintendo might bring the zany Animal Crossing series to the Revolution. Animal Crossing DSs producer was interviewed by IGN and had this to say:
"The reason why we created the Animal Island was to give something for people to take with them on the Game Boy Advance," Eguchi explained. "Maybe with the DS well do something similar between the DS and Revolution." While not official confirmation, its more insight than we usually get out of the silent Kyoto giant. The fact that the Revolution will be Wi-Fi ready out of the box makes Animal Crossing a perfect application for that feature, but only time will tell if the game exists.
