E3: Ninja Gaiden Sequel Not 360-bound?
May 20th, 2005 (9:00pm) - According to IGN, the sequel to Ninja Gaiden might not be coming to the Xbox 360. Those who follow Team Ninja and their dealings shouldnt be surprised with this news.
During an interview with Tomonobu Itagaki, head of Team Ninja, IGN asked how the Xbox 360 would improve upon the inevitable Ninja Gaiden sequel. The translator let them know that Team Ninja wasnt ready to confirm the game for any platform yet. Itagaki-san talked last year about exploring the options of other platforms, and has openly stated before that he likes to work with the most powerful tools availible. Since the PS3 is more powerful than the Xbox 360, this might signal the direction the team is heading in. Its also important to note that the team is also deep in development with Dead or Alive 4 and work on a Ninja Gaiden sequel has yet to begin. More will likely be announced on this upon the completion of DOA4. Reported by Anthony Swinnich on May 20th, 2005 (9:00pm) [From: IGN]
