May 22^nd, 2005 (12:46am) - At the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo, Tecmo announced that the next installment in its Japanese style survival horror series, Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented, plans to be released this Fall for the PlayStation 2. Along with the announcement, E3 attendees and fans of the franchise were able to see their first glimpse of Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented as Tecmo unveiled a new mentally disturbing Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented trailer during the pre-show event at the Tecmo booth. The horrific imagery, ghastly apparitions, and unnerving sounds filling the screen during the showing of the trailer left E3 attendees chilled, thrilled, and excited to play the new survival horror title when it launches on PlayStation 2 later this year.
