The first batch of movies consist of "Team America: World Police," "Coach Carter" and "Without a Paddle", and are due out August 9th. The second batch of UMDs, "Sahara," "The Italian Job" and "MTVs Viva la Bam: Volume 1," will follow on August 30th. And later on, we will see "SpongeBob SquarePants the Movie" and a compilation UMDs of popular TV shows including "Chappelles Show," "Ren & Stimpy," "South Park" and the "SpongeBob SquarePants" TV series. In similar news, Sony has announced that the firms "House of Flying Daggers" and "Resident Evil 2" have sold more than 100,000 copies in their UMD format. Sony is very proud of these sales, especially since it took their first DVD title, "Air Force One," seven months to reach that goal, whereas both of these UMD movies did the same in just over a month.
