June 11th, 2005 (1:43am) - With another E3 under Namcos belt, this industry giant has released a list of its upcoming games, many of which made their debut at E3 this past May.
PlayStation 2 Line-up
*Arc The Lad: End of Darkness (Action RPG, June 2005): For the first time, the "Arc The Lad" series takes a real-time action approach, and players fight vigorously through various action-packed missions to build up their character. They then take the same character online to fight and cooperate with up to seven other gamers. The game will include an all-star cast of characters from the "Arc the Lad" series.
* Namco Museum 50th Anniversary Arcade Collection (Classic Arcade, August 2005): To celebrate the companys 50th anniversary, Namco has compiled 14 of its best original arcade titles including "Pac-Man," "Galaga," "Dig Dug" and "Xevious" into the largest collection of Namco Arcade Classics ever.
* Pac-Man World 3 (Platforming Adventure, Fall 2005): Pac-Man returns on his 25th birthday to jump, bounce and charge his way through the Spectral Realm, compete in classic 2-D and 3-D mazes and even take control of his long time ghost adversaries to save Pac-Village.
* i>Urban Reign (Fighting, Fall 2005): From the creators of "SOULCALIBUR" and "TEKKEN," take the fight to the streets with more than 60 playable characters in all-out street brawling for up to four players.
* SOULCALIBUR III (Fighting, Fall 2005): The legendary fighting series returns with three new characters, an epic selection of worldwide arenas and a groundbreaking character customization system.
* MotoGP4 (Racing Simulation, Q3 2005): The world famous motorcycle racing series returns with realistic physics, an all-new bike upgrade system and online play for up to eight players.
* Sniper Elite (Military Action/First Person-Third Person Shooter, Q4 2005): Topple the Soviet nuclear threat as an American sniper in World War II, using a detailed sniping system to eliminate targets. Players can also play though missions cooperatively with a friend or in competitive online battles.
*We Love KatamariTales of Legendia (RPG, February 2006): The renowned "Tales" series returns with character designs from artist Kazuto Nakazawa and the innovative X-LiMBS, battle system.
