PSP Production Cut Down

June 23rd, 2005 (12:17am) - Though the launch for the PSP seems like it went well, Sony seems to be preparing for something that looks quite the opposite.

According to Japan’s Nikkei BP, Sony will be cutting production of it’s Playstation Portable handheld gaming machine by 1/3, to 12 million units from a previous excess of 18 million.

Sony Computer Entertainment America declined to comment on the issue.
