UMD and DVD of Advent Children to launch at the same time in Japan
 June 29th, 2005 (7:57pm) - Today Square Enix has announced that the CG movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be released at the same time on DVD and UMD in Japan on September 14th.
Currently there is no UMD package that will contain the special features included in the limited edition DVD being released. Both will retail at the same price. Though the DVD package has a lot more bonus items than the UMD package, the UMD will have a selection of battle themes from the soundtrack CD.
