Tidbits and Rumors on New DS Games
July 2nd, 2005 (12:31pm) - Some new DS games are showing up on the horizon, though not much information has been released about them, and a title many RPG fans are excited about has been pushed back a couple of months.
Prepare to Feel the Magic Again Takumi Yoshinaga, the director of Feel the Magic XX XY was quoted as saying the following at an event in Japan: "I am currently developing a title that kind of expands on the world of Feel the Magic. I create my games with the hope they will make people happy when they play it," Yoshinaga said. "I cant talk about the details yet, but Id like to keep creating these kinds of titles, which will leave something [in the hearts] of the players. The [key] point is communion between the heart of people and people." While not confirmation of a sequel, or even confirmation that its a DS title, he seems to be hinting in that direction, or at least to a spiritual successor. Dragon Song Delayed Roleplaying fans who own a DS will have to wait a little longer for a fix on the dual-screened system. Atlus announced that the upcoming RPG Lunar: Dragon Song for the DS has had its release date pushed back from late July to September 10th. Two Tribes Brings Three Developer Two Tribes is set to bring three titles to the Nintendo DS. The first is a sequel to the GameBoy Color game Toki Tori. The sequel will focus on environmental exploration and provide a fresh experience. Next is a title called ReWind. ReWind is an on-rails shooter set in a 3D world. The title is in the planning stages. Finally, Three Tribes for both the DS and the GBA. In this game the player controls a group of villagers whos purpose is to make the Shaman happy.
