July 5^th, 2005 (2:14am) - Nintendo has revealed that it will be releasing an expansion to Band Brothers for the Nintendo DS called Band Brothers Zouka Kyoku Cartridge (Band Brothers Additional Song Cartridge). This expansion will come in the form of a Game Boy Advance cartridge (to be used in the DS) and will include twenty new songs. In order to access these new songs, the GBA cartridge and DS game card of Band Brothers must both be loaded into the system.

In order to choose which songs will be available in the expansion, Nintendo will be polling Japanese fans until August 1st; participants will automatically be entered into a contest where it is possible to win a copy of of the expansion (out of 100).

This new Band Brothers expansion will be available on August 22nd in Japan. The North American version of the game, Jam With The Band, is scheduled for a release later this year.
