July 5^th, 2005 (3:17pm) - It has been rumored for quite some time that Microsoft would hold an event in Japan to showcase their next-gen Xbox 360 console to the Japanese market. Today, it has been revealed that Microsoft will indeed hold such an event on July 25th.

At this event, it is expected that Microsoft Japan will reveal their Japanese lineup of games in development for the platform and possible launch details for the console’s launch in the region. Also, many new Japanese-developed Xbox 360 games are expected to be first announced and unveiled at the summit.
