Iwata Drops Revolution Controller Hints
July 11th, 2005 (1:34pm) - In an interview with Londons The Gaurdian, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata dropped some more vague hints about the Nintendo Revolutions mysterious controller. He said the following:
There are too many buttons and sticks on controllers for novice players, which is likely to discourage them from ever playing games at all... We want the Revolutions controller to be relevant to everybody and we really want people to feel like they want to touch and play with it.
Your guess is pretty much as good as ours, but it seems as if Iwata is hinting towards a controller that is less "complex" than its competitors.
