Microsoft and Marvel Team Up Xbox 360 MMO
 July 14th, 2005 (1:49am) - Microsoft Game Studios has acquired the rights to publish and develop a Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) games using Marvel Enterprises most popular comic book super heroes, which include the likes of Spider-Man, Wolverine, The Silver Surfer, and Thor. The first Marvel MMO will appear on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 game console and is expected to see a release for the platform sometime in 2008.
"Online gaming is reaching a point of acceptance. We will use as many of the Marvel characters as we can" in the MMO game, said Peter Moore, corporate vice president of worldwide marketing and publishing for Microsoft’s Xbox. We hope to have more on the game following its official announcement.
