Resident Evil 5 Revealed for the Xbox 360 and PS3
 July 20th, 2005 (1:20am) - The latest issue of Japan’s Famitsu magazine has revealed some earth shattering news... Resident Evil 5 will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and there are images to prove it.
Resident Evil 5 will build on Shinji Mikami’s Resident Evil 4 and will be developed under the supervision of Resident Evil 2 director Jun Takeuchi (Mikami has said that he no longer wants to work on the Resident Evil series). The game will star the original Resident Evil’s Chris Redfield. Resident Evil 5 will mark the first time the series will be available on a Microsoft game console. It is unknown if Capcom has any plans to bring the game over to Nintendo’s next-gen console too. Click on the thumbnails below to check out larger versions of the scans. Update:
