Acclaim Entertainment coming back from the dead!

July 20th, 2005 (3:47pm) - Or the name is at least.

New York Newsday has reported that a tentative agreement has been reached between the trustee for the bankrupt company and Central Investment Holdings to sell the rights to the Acclaim Entertainment name for $100,000.

The report also mentioned tentative deals to sell rights for the Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX series and ATV Quad Power Racing 2 to Crave Entertainment for a total of $120,000.

All of the deals stand unless there is a higher bidder for any of these properties in the next few weeks.

Neither company has announced any plans for the properties being dealed with.
