Silicon Knights Launches New Website Design; New Too Human Art
July 22nd, 2005 (3:15pm) - Former Nintendo second-party developer Silicon Knights has launched their newly redesigned website, which features a revised logo for the company, a powerful background audio track, and some new artwork for the highly anticipated Too Human trilogy.
Too Human, originally began development on the PlayStation and was scheduled to see a release for the platform in the year 2000. However, when Nintendo signed Silicon Knights as a second-party developer, the development of the game had been been put on hiatus in order to begin development on the GameCubes Eternal Darkness (which originally started as a Nintendo 64 title) and its development had been moved to the GameCube itself. With Nintendo and Silicon Knights ending their second party relations early last year, Silicon Knights signed with Sega to publish a Too Human trilogy for the Xbox 360. The game will use the Unreal Engine and has no specific release window at the moment. According to previous reports of the games development, Too Human follows the path of John Franks, a man who lives in a futuristic world in the year 2450 AD. Silicon Knights once called the game a futuristic psychological thriller that goes deep into a problem the earth has faced for years, prejudice, in a future filled with cyborgs and robots. The game allows players to use cybernetics to enhance vision, leg strength, arm strength, stamina, mental capacity, etc. and a massive action RPG experience that once promised over 80 hours of gameplay.
