Xbox Summit 2005: Team Ninja Developing 5 for the Xbox 360
July 25th, 2005 (1:08pm) - Head Honcho of Tecmos Team Ninja development studio, Tomonobu Itagaki, revealed that the developer plans to develop five games for the Xbox 360, and surprisingly, a sequel to the developers critically acclaimed Ninja Gaiden is not one of them.
While the developers main Xbox 360 showcase had been the 3D fighter Dead or Alive 4, Team Ninja also revealed that it plans to developer a sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball for the console, a new action game called Project Progressive, as well as the other DOA spin-off, Code Cronus. The fifth game is being kept secret by the developer, but it has been stated that it is not a sequel to Ninja Gaiden, a game we already know is in development.
