European PSP will launch with 2.0 firmware
July 28th, 2005 (8:09pm) - Sony has confirmed that the v2.00 firmware for the PlayStation Portable that had been recently announced and available currently in Japan, will be shipped as standard on European PSP consoles when they arrive on September 1st.
The firmware contains the capability of web browsing, wireless photo sharing and other updated functionalities to the console.
