Microsoft Confirms Three Manufacturers for the Xbox 360
August 16th, 2005 (3:02pm) - Microsoft has announced the three hardware manufacturers taht will produce its next generation video game console, the Xbox 360, Toronto-based electronics maker Celestica, Flextronics and Wistron.
All three companies maintain assembly plants in the Pear River Delta region of southern China. Microsoft is planning to produce two to three million Xbox 360 consoles for its expected launch in November, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
