The Movies’ Pre-Sell Application Lets Players Design Characters for Full Game

August 17th, 2005 (3:00pm) - A standalone software application for The Movies, an upcoming PC title from Lionhead Studios, is now available at Best Buy, and will be available Electronics Boutique and GameStop on August 25th. This application is known as The Movies StarMaker and what this software allows gamers to do is to design characters and insert them into the full version of the game when it’s released. Gamers will be able to control their character’s face, age, weight and wardrobe and even morph different faces together to design a whole new look.

In early September, look for The StarMaker at AAFES, Amazon, Comp USA, Hollywood Video and Musicland. It will also be available at Wal-Mart Online when The Movies premieres.
