EA to continue partnership with Def Jam Enterprises

August 18th, 2005 (1:28pm) - Electronic Arts has extended its game partnership with Def Jam Enterprises, signing an exclusive multi-year agreement to develop games for next-generation platforms.

The first game to be released as part of the deal will be Def Jam 3 (working title), the sequel to Def Jam Vendetta and Def Jam Fight for NY. Def Jam 3 is currently in development at EA Chicago and is billed as "a truly revolutionary next-generation street fighting game."

EA hasn’t revealed which platforms the game will be released on.
