August 23^rd, 2005 (8:46pm) - In an interview with Croatian car magazine Auto Klub, Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi revealed that the next instalment in the Gran Turismo series will arrive sometime in 2007 and will be "100 times more detailed" than the critically acclaimed Gran Turismo 4.

Most likely going to be billed at one of the PlayStation 3’s "killer apps," Yamauchi "hopes that GT5 will be finished during 2007"

At the Tokyo Game Show, Sony Computer Entertainment is expected to showcase lots of new media and in-game trailers of PS3 games currently in development. In order to get the hype training rolling, it is likely that we’ll see Gran Turismo 5 in some form at TGS, most likely through a teaser trailer.
