August 24^th, 2005 (1:56pm) - Capcom has finally unveiled the Nintendo DS remake of Resident Evil in the most recent issue of Japan’s Famitsu magazine. Subtitled "Deadly Silence," Resident Evil for the DS seems to be port of the original PlayStation game with a new first-person element added to the game, as well as some touch-screen elements, including a feature that makes players wipe blood off the touch-screen in order to see the playing field.

The original report we made back in July said that the game will would be completely rendered in 3D, however, from the images below, this isn’t exactly clear. We’ll have to hear an official statement from Capcom...
