Virtua Fighter 5 In Development for Lindbergh
August 31st, 2005 (6:23pm) - The latest issue of Japans Famitsu magazine has revealed that SEGA is in development with Virtua Fighter 5 for its new Lindbergh arcade board, which is believed to be based on the Xbox 360 hardware. SEGA will be a making an official announcement at tomorrows AM Show in Japan, a arcade game event that is expected to bring many surprises, including the rumored Street Fighter 4.
At the show, SEGA also plans to showcase other Lindbergh-developed arcade games, including a new After Burner, House of the Dead 4, and Power Smash 3. Virtua Fighter creator Yu Suzuki also plans to unveil a new shooter by the name of Psy-Phi that will use new never before seen hardware with a touch sensitive screen.
