Can You Pass Me The Turkey And Some Xbox 360 Please?

September 1st, 2005 (12:00am) - Ign stated today that Microsoft could possibly release the Xbox 360 as late as Friday, November 25th or Black Friday for anyone who has ever worked or shopped on that day.

Three unnamed retail chains, all of whom independently pointed to Friday, November 25, as the hardware launch day, received email describing launch data late Monday.

Launch day games have also have been pushed back from early November to Monday, November 22, as potential first day ship dates. As of this writing, Microsoft has not confirmed or denied the information. In previous official announcements, Microsoft has said Xbox 360 will vaguely launch this fall.

With the system shipping later, this gives developers more time to put finishing touches on their titles, hopefully producing a more polished experience.

Since the system releasing on the busiest shopping day in North America however, it might be a good idea to go reserve yours today.
