September 2^nd, 2005 (8:37pm) - The latest hardware sales from Media Create have revealed that with 57,313 units of the Nintendo DS sold last week, the dual-screened handheld has sold through 3 million units in Japan alone, with an exact total of 3,015,894. According to a financial statement Nintendo released yesterday, over 6.65 million units of the DS have been sold worldwide, with 1.89 million sold in the United States. Additionally, over 15.82 million units of Nintendo DS software have been sold worldwide.
