Nintendo Moseys Into Mobile Phone Market
 September 6th, 2005 (3:59pm) - Nintendo will be taking the first few steps into the Japanese mobile phone market next month, but gamers shouldn’t expect to explore the Mushroom Kingdom on their phones just yet.
Nintendo will be offering wallpapers and sound effects from the Super Mario Bros. series. Sound effects will likely come in the form of ringtones. The service is starting on October 17th in Japan for about $1.92 a month. Nintendo will also provide up to date coverage of their news, which could help them out since the mobile phone market in Japan is booming.
