Content Removed from U.S. Version of Indigo Prophecy
September 9th, 2005 (4:25pm) - Atari has announced that Indigo Prophecy has gone gold. Known as "Fahrenheit" in Europe, the game will be hitting retail selves on September 20th for the PC, PS2 and Xbox. With this announcement comes news of the game being edited for its North American release. Many of the games "adult" scenes have been removed from the U.S. version of the game to prevent individuals, such as Jack Thompson, from giving the game undeserved bad press.
Indigo Prophecy promises to be one the most entertaining adventure games to ever be released. The games developer, Quantic Dream, has introduced many features into the genre, such as a highly dynamic game world, multiple characters, motion picture techniques, and an interesting, paranormal plot to captivate gamers and keep them on the edge of their seat till the adventure is over.
