THQ Pledges Nintendo Revolution Support
September 9th, 2005 (4:44pm) - THQ president Brian Farrell has told gaming website IGN that THQ will develop software for Nintendos next generation game console, the platform code-named "Revolution." Farrell said firmly, that "we are committed to Nintendos [Revolution]."
When asked if THQ has received any Revolution development kits from Nintendo, Farrell refused to comment due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). However, Farrell did go on to say that "were seeing more from Nintendo now [for the Revolution] than we have on any other Nintendo platform." Additionally, based on the discussions Farrell has had with Nintendo about the Revolution, Farrell believes that "Nintendo is waking up." As one of the industrys top third party publishers, THQ will provide a wide selection of software for all of the upcoming next-generation consoles. Farrell has said that "THQs plan is to serve gamers no matter what platform they are on." Reported by Elias Dounis on September 9th, 2005 (4:44pm) [From: IGN]
