September 9^th, 2005 (5:21pm) - Here are some of the very first direct feed images of Super Monkey Ball DS for the Nintendo DS. The Super Monkey Ball series is know for its simple in approach, fun, yet at times incredibly difficult gameplay and this newest handheld instalment of the game promises to stay true to tradition by offering over one-hundred stages, many of which are from previous games in the series and others which are brand new. We’ve also learned that there will be at least six party games included in the game, with two of them being playable by up to four players. However, the only party games we’ve know of is a hockey-style game which has players drawing lines to deflect the puck across the playing field and a racing mode similar to those in previous games of the series.

Super Monkey Ball DS is scheduled to see a December release in Japan. SEGA has not revealed a possible release date for the game overseas.
