More New DS Games from SEGA
September 9th, 2005 (6:06pm) - SEGA pleasantly surprised DS fans this week when Famitsu revealed that Super Monkey Ball would be coming to the Nintendo DS, but luckily for DS fans SEGA has revealed that it has even more games coming to Nintendos dual-screened handheld.
One of the new games revealed today just so happens to be a Nintendo DS version or sequel to the Game Boy Advances extremely successful Beetle King Mushiking: Greatest Champion. The Game Boy Advance original has already surpassed 500,000 units in software sales in Japan and is one of SEGAs best selling games in Japan since becoming a third-party publisher. This DS Mushiking will be released in Japan later this year on December 8th. The second new game revealed is set for a release in 2006 and is a new video game based on the Doraemon license. Titled Doraemon: Nobuta no Kyouryuu 2006 DS, or Doreamon: Nobutas Dinosaur 2006, the game has been listed as being a RPG, however, no other specifics are currently available. Lastly, thanks to a new publishing agreement announced between SEGA and Chunsoft, SEGA will be publishing Fushigi no Dungeon Fuurai no Shiren DS, which is set for a release some time in 2006. The game is the latest instalment in a series that is more commonly recognized by overseas gamers as Mysterious Dungeon. These games join Super Monkey Ball, Bleach DS, and Sonic Rush in order to create an incredible line-up from Sega alone for a former rivals dual-screened handheld game machine.
