Deep Labyrinth Revealed for the DS
September 12th, 2005 (7:39pm) - Deep Labyrinth was first revealed to be in development for the Nintendo DS in early October of last year and after a year of waiting weve finally come across the very first images of the game in action on Nintendos dual-screened handheld.
From Japanese publisher Interactive Brains, Deep Labyrinth for the Nintendo DS is an enhanced version of the mobile version of the game currently available on Vodafone-branded cell phones in Japan, which is an RPG played in the first-person perspective. From what has been seen from the mobile version of the game, Deep Labyrinth is a dungeon crawler that has players hacking and slashing their way through enemies and casting spells, which will undoubtedly be done by drawing patterns on the touch-screen in the DS version of the game. Deep Labyrinth is expected to see a release in Japan sometime next year, however, there is no word on whether or not the game will see an overseas release.
