Capcom Unleashes Devil May Cry 4 in Latest Famitsu
September 14th, 2005 (7:41pm) - As if the first images of Metal Gear Solid 4 hadnt been enough for future PlayStation 3 owners, Devil May Cry 4 had also been revealed in that same issue of Famitsu magazine, and not be to outclassed by MGS4, DMC4 is also one beautiful looking next generation video game. As you can see in the scans below, Dante returns in DMC4 and hes looking better than ever.
Capcom plans on taking advantage of the PS3s technical strengths by creating a lifelike video game world and lifelike characters that feature many detailed facial expressions, flowing hair and clothing, etc... Unfortunately, it is not known whether these images have been created using an actual in-game graphics engine or if they are target renders that have been created to show us what Capcom is aiming to accomplish with the actual game. Of course, Devil May Cry 4 promises to deliver the action packed, mission-based chaos that weve come to expect and love from the series. Dante returns with both his twin guns and long sword, and is expected to be have a wide array of moves and skills, many of which come from the three previous games in the series, in addition to new ones created for the game. Producing the game is Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who recently worked on some high quality games such as Sengoku Basara. Returning as director is Devil May Cry 3s Hideaki Itsuno. We expect to learn more about Devil May Cry 4 at the Tokyo Game Show on Friday. However, it should be noted that the game is far from completion, only being 5% complete at the current time.
