Cold War Goes Gold
September 15th, 2005 (12:57pm) - DreamCatcher Games today announced that the companys highly anticipated stealth action game Cold War has gone gold in North America for Xbox. Cold War is scheduled for release on the PC and Xbox on September 27th, 2005.
"With its 1980s Soviet backdrop and intriguing stealth premise that puts gamers in the middle of an international conspiracy," commented Product Manager Byron Gaum. "We expect Cold War to be well received by hungry stealth and action gamers everywhere." Rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB, Cold War follows the story of Matt Carter, a freelance American journalist, who finds himself in the midst of an international conspiracy that aims to take control of the U.S.S.R. Twelve hours after arriving in Moscow for a routine story, Carter is stripped of all his possessions, beaten unconscious and thrown into the KGBs political prison. Using only recovered weapons and improvised gadgets, he must now evade and overcome elite Soviet forces and defeat the conspiracy before he is sent to a Siberian prison camp or killed.
