Q Entertainment Brings New Game To PSP
September 15th, 2005 (1:31pm) - Q Entertainment, the house behind the PSP hit Lumines, the DS hit Meteos, and the upcoming Ninety-Nine Nights for the Xbox 360 are working on another game for the PSP.
The amusingly titled Every Extend Extra will be published by Bandai in Japan, and is described as an "action shooting" game, rather than a puzzler, but the screens shown so far greatly resemble those of Lumines, with a grid on the screen, high score listings, and such. The basis is to collect enemy objects, then make them explode. Avoiding enemy objects is important, because you have to gather them in the center of the screen. If you bring together a certain number of enemies, they will explode. Enemies can be gathered in numbers higher than a hundred. If this doesnt make sense to you, dont worry; Q Entertainment projects usually dont make sense until theyre in the persons hands. The developers said that the game will combine music with the gameplay, much like they did in Lumines, so hearing it might help clear up the mystery. Every Extend Extra will be playable at Bandais booth during the TGS, so expect more news on the game when the floor opens on Friday.
