3D Peripheral Created for Metal Gear Acid 2
September 16th, 2005 (5:21pm) - Konami has revealed that it has developed a 3D viewing peripheral in conjunction with Sony Music Communications (SMC) for the PSP. This attachment intends to make games and movies (designed specifically for the PSP) feel much more realistic by producing full-color, 3D visuals by simply placing the viewer lens on the PSP system.
This system, entitled "SOL!D EYE TOBIDAC!D (tentative product name)" will make its debut on December 8th in Japan. It will be packaged along with Metal Gear Acid 2. Players can also change between 3D and normal view anytime, even while playing. Metal Gear Acid 2 with SOL!D EYE TOBIDAC!D will be sold for 5,229 yen, which is about $47 USD.
