Brothers in Arms Developer Interested in Creating Games for the Revolution
September 23rd, 2005 (12:03pm) - GamerCC.com recently held an interview with Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, the development studio behind the critically acclaimed Brothers in Arms series. In the interview GamerCC asked Mr. Pitchford about this thoughts in regards to the Nintendo Revolutions game controller, which had been revealed at the Tokyo Game Show a week ago, and he had a handful of positive things to say.
"I think the Revolution is an interesting device and I look forward to the challenge of making games for it," said Pitchford. "There are a few ideas Ive nurtured over the years that I think would be very appropriate for the interface options the Revolution provides." Gearbox is mostly known for working on games in the first-person shooter genre and has worked on such games as Halo: Combat Evolved (PC), Half-Life: Blue Shift (PC), Half-Life: Opposing Force (PC), the PS2 port of Half-Life, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (PC), in addition to the original Brothers in Arms and its upcoming sequel, Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood.
