Rare Cuts Down Perfect Dark Zero for 360 Launch

September 27th, 2005 (1:36pm) - It is being reported that Rare is being forced to make some cuts to Perfect Dark Zero so that the game will be able to headline the Xbox 360’s Launch on November 22nd. The game will no longer feature 50-player online multiplayer capabilities, but will instead be scaled back to 32 players. Also, the DataDyne TV mode has also been scrapped. This mode was supposed to allow players to watch and upload multiplayer matches.

All hope is not lost, however... Rare has mentioned that these cuts may be implemented into the game at a later date via Xbox Live as a downloadable update.
